Congratulations to the BU14 Royals who took 1st place in the Division 1 section of the Boston Area Youth Soccer (BAYS) league. The team scored 27 goals and allowed only 7 during the 10 game season. Division 1 is the most competitive level of play for any given age group in the BAYS league, which consists of 54 towns in eastern Massachusetts. With a record of 8-0-2 the team went undefeated against strong opposition which included Wellesley, Arlington, Needham and Newton. With this strong start to the 2012-13 year, the team sets its sights on the spring season with a goal of winning the Mass Tournament of Champions this spring. Go Royals!
