LUSC April Vacation Clinic

Offering a Kindergarten option for the 1st time ever!

The April Clinic has historically been our most popular clinic and with such a great demand we make a point to secure a top flight staff for the week.  For the first time ever, we will be offering a two hour Kindergarten program for our U6 players.

It is our intention to provide Lexington children with high-level clinics that have an outstanding staff at an affordable cost. The clinics will promote soccer in a fun atmosphere that emphasizes learning the game in a manner appropriate to each player’s needs.

Grades: 1st through 8th

  • Date: Tuesday April 16th through Friday April 19th
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Location: Diamond Middle School
  • Cost: $120 per child

Grade:  Kindergarten

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (2 hour program)
  • Location: Diamond Middle School
  • Cost: $90 per child

About our Staff:

Camp Director
Brendan Donahue- LUSC Director of Coaching
On January 1st, 2006 Brendan became the first full-time Director of Coaching for Lexington United Soccer Club.  Prior to Lexington, Brendan, a graduate of Middlebury College, spent over a decade coaching collegiate soccer at the DI and III levels.  Coach Donahue’s previous youth experiences include, serving as The Boston Blast Technical Director, Head coaching in the MA Olympic Development Program and working as a MASS Youth Instructional Staff Coach and Coaching Course Instructor.  Coach Donahue has had articles published nationally in the NSCAA Journal, US Youth Soccer’s Coaches Connection and his piece on “Maximizing Your Warm-up” was presented at the USYSA National Convention.  Brendan is currently a member of the MYSA Cultural and Player Development Committee, a group with a mission to enhance the development and enjoyment of all soccer players throughout the state.

Tom Heimreid- LUSC Assistant Director of Coaching
Coach Heimreid became the LUSC Assistant DOC on January 1st 2013.  Tommy holds his UEFA “B” license and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Coach Heimreid previously held the positions of Director of Elite Futures Soccer Academy for Princeton Soccer Association (NJ) and Camp Director for Advanced Total Soccer Coaching, Bound Brook NJ.  Tommy was a three time captain and four year starter at Northeastern University where he earned both All America East and All Rookie team honors.

Paul Mallen – LUSC Co-Coordinator for Youth Development
Coach Mallen holds his FA 1 & 2 Badges as well the FA First Aid and Child Protection Course Diploma.  Paul came to Lexington after having served on the MLS Camps Coaching Staff.  Paul has become a central figure in the Lexington Soccer Community and is a significant contributor to the LUSC player development curriculum.  Paul is currently progressing through the USSF Licensing courses.
