Where: Fiske Elementary School
When: Saturday April 7th
Time: 1:00pm to 5:00pm
In 3rd grade, players and coaches transition to a larger field with numerous rules. This transition to 7v7 soccer presents new challenges to players and coaches alike. This course aims to give coaches the best tools and a head start in making that transition while providing in-depth insight into practice planning, long-term player development, and best practices for coaches in terms of communication with players and families over the course of a season.
Although the course is geared to our current and next year’s (Fall 2018) 3rd grade coaches, many of the topics are relevant to any coach and thus all LUSC coaches are invited to attend (with priority given to U8 and U9 coaches if the class is oversubscribed).
