New for Fall 2024/Spring 2025: MYSA has released this video to guide coaches through the registration and credential process. Or see the instructions below created by LUSC as a guide to the process.
Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) requires all adult volunteers to complete the credentialing process. Completing the credential requirements can be a bit of a task, but don’t worry! Contact the LUSC registrar for whatever help you may need. Please carefully read the instructions below.
The whole process takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to complete, so it is best to start sooner than later. The process can be completed in parts. Once you have completed the requirements, you should have a “check” and/or a “verified” date next to each of the requirements under “certificates” in your US Soccer Connect account.
Once those are completed and verified, LUSC will issue your coaching credentials. You must have your credentials to be allowed in the technical area as a coach during games. You will be expected to wear your credentials during games, and if you do not have credentials, the referee may ask you to leave the technical area, so it’s important to get this done.
There are 4 steps to completing your training:
- Registering your MYSA adult account. If you already have a family account, do not use it. You must create a separate adult account just for you.
- CORI report. The CORI is is done when you register your account and is good for 3 years.
- Safesport training. This takes about 1.5 hours to complete and must be renewed every year.
- CDC Concussion training. This course takes about 30 minutes and must be renewed every 2 years.
*Both the Safesport & Concussion training links will be in your MYSA account under the “Certificates” tab:

The complete process is described on MYSA’s Adult Registration Process page.
- Log into your personal account on the MYSA Adult Registration Portal. If this is your first year you will need to create an account. Remember, you must register every year.
- After completing the registration, go to your profile page and open the Certificates tab. Follow the links on this tab to complete each certificate requirement: SafeSport, Concussion, and CORI. If you are already CORI Verified, you do not need to repeat it.
