The Town of Lexington recently approved much-requested changes to the Lincoln Fields parking lot to improve safety and traffic flow. The first phase of these changes will be completed by May 2nd, 2022 and will change the two-way “loop” driveway closest to Lincoln St. to be one-way, with the entrance to the southwest (closer to Route 2) and the exit to the northeast (closer to Hayden Recreation Center and Lexington Center). Once these changes are in effect, future changes to traffic flow in the main parking area will be considered.
