The following is an important reminder from the town;
I want to remind all of you about picking up all trash at the end of your practices and games. The appearance of our parks and athletic facilities is very important to the Recreation Department. It has been brought to my attention and I have also noticed that water bottles and other items are being left behind on the fields at Lincoln Park and other parks around town. Everyone needs to pick up after themselves. Each organization should police itself and make sure that it leaves the facility in better condition than it was found. If a trash barrel happens to be full on the weekend, you should still place the trash next to the barrel and DPW will take care of it on Monday morning. Please don’t leave trash on the fields.
